Dear Dubai,
November is approaching so my thoughts are wandering nostalgically through your streets. December beach, evening tea in Al Bastakiya, wandering around the city with a camera.

When I think about fashion in Dubai I think - White. Men dress in white after all. So the choice is simple... white.
A background in colours washed out by the bright sun.

So I took a bit of Hollywood from the 40s, a white suit from The Great Gatsby by Catherine Martin, I took a bit of the charm of Jan Kiepura, a wonderful Polish singer and actor from before the war, and finally I took a bit of Walter Albini style, a white suit and a hat - that's the first association with him, isn't it?
So, if I were a young man who wanted to stand out in a city where it's hard to stand out, I would dress like this:
a modern white suit in a linen/cashmere blend, single or double-breasted, it doesn't matter, a white shirt, with greetings to my Italian friends, casually unbuttoned, white leather shoes and a white Stetson hat. Add a smile, some jewelry, a good watch, as is customary in Dubai... and... the city belongs to you.
