The culottes are my favourite solution for pairing with boots this season. The construction is precise. Fitted through the hips with a high waist that mimics a skirt's silhouette. With side pockets cut diagonally. A concealed side zipper maintains the streamlined appearance of traditional skirt closures.
Below the hips, the design transforms wildly. The fabric expands in width, engineered to achieve essential flow and movement. The length is critical—covering the top of the boots but not so long as to hide the legs.
What captivates is the embrace of pattern collision. Multiple prints coexist; each panel is cut differently from spectacular silk, creating a unique composition every time. This echoes patchwork traditions found in various folk costumes, where resourcefulness met artistry.
The weighted, rolled hem is crucial. It provides the necessary heft for beautiful silk drape.

In my visualization, I've combined multiple patterns and colours.
Abundance of prints and textures is my signature. See the black fringe detail? It adds drama and reinforces the folkloric reference.
But the beauty lies in versatility. Pair with a white vintage t-shirt and simple one button black blazer, add black boots, and you're impeccably dressed for dinner out or a friend's vernissage.
