An old house with a large door and an ornate doorknob, and hidden in them a tiny door, such for everyday use.
A huge room, a high ornate ceiling, a beautiful crystal lamp breaking up the sun's rays into a million drops of light that traveled along the walls.
Damaged fresco and wallpapers on the walls and ceilings.
Huge windows. Lots of southern and western sunlight.
Too many, too colourful curtains.
Too long, impractical, but what a scenography they create.
An abundance of colours and patterns. A stone floor, to walk in shoes.
Yes, yes, I am the worst interior designer in the world. But those are my needs.
This is my dream apartment in Rome.
